Working and Upgrading Buildings

Each building that can be placed in your segment of the Capital will require a worker to run it. In order to gain more workers in your segment of the capital, you will need to upgrade your forum. In order to do this, you will need to spend resources like Wood or stone. Buildings that are placed in your area can also be upgraded to increase the benefits as well as the production rate of the buildings. This is done using resources such as Water, Fish, Wood and Stone etc. Buildings that produce goods will need to be connected to the forum via a road. Buildings that are not connected to the Forum will have an Icon over them with the following Icon.

If you do not have your buildings connected by a road, no one will be able to harvest from them and the commodity will appear darkened. You can collect scrub which is around your area to get wood & stone until you can safely place Resource Buildings. In order to collect these you will need to select them and click the shovel icon that pops up.

To place roads, select them from the build menu. This will display a road template, which then can be placed with a green click, or canceled with the red cross. After placing a section of road, the template will move to an available tile adjacent to the proviously placed segment of road.
